Alpine Trail Ridge Inn - Housekeeping Jobs

Age: Must be at least 14 years old

Work Hours: Daytime hours ranging from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. normal day, 1/2 hr lunch on your own time). We require everyone to take a 15 to 30 minute lunch break in order to rest and to re-fuel your body. It's also a good opportunity to visit with your co-workers. You will have the opportunity to get a second job as long as you are available for work with us at Alpine Trail Ridge Inn from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on days you are scheduled to work.

Hours per week:  An average of 30 to 36 hours per week, depending on willingness to do extra projects. 5 or 6 day work week, including weekends & holidays. Consistent day(s) off & no night shifts. All our rooms are non-smoking, and we have a non-smoking work environment.

Housing:  Some housing is available for non-smokers without pets. Most housing is for two people.

Work qualities necessary: Honest, steady, dependable, organized, & pay attention to details

Physical work: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, push housekeeping cart up paved "hills", stoop, kneel, twist , reach & bend. Must be willing to help in other areas, such as laundry, outdoor grounds work, (i.e. weeding, planting, sweeping paved areas) and other light maintenance as the need arises to best take care of the guests at Alpine Trail Ridge Inn

Standards: You can see immediate results of your work & realize the importance to the guest - customer satisfaction is very important!! Spotlessly clean rooms are a must!!

Benefits: When work is completed, you are finished for the day & have time to swim, hike, fish, bicycle ride, tour the national park, etc. We also have staff "get-togethers" throughout summer such as special meals and pool privileges for the staff

Wage: Wage: $8.50/hr training, $0.50/hr raise when work is satisfactory.

Bonus: $0..25/hr if you stay through your agreed date (staying through the agreed date is very important - the bonus will not be given if you leave prior to the agreed date, so you need to be very sure of your leaving date.)

Beginning: Between May 1st & June 11th

Ending: From the end of September to mid October, possibly later
