Alpine Trail Ridge Inn

We loved this hotel. We spent 6 nights in a balcony room. The rooms are basic but clean and a nice size. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The towels and wash cloths were fluffy and soft (something you would find in a luxury hotel). The balconies have a wonderful Mountain View. The a/c is nice and cold. We had a minor issue with the fridge in our room - they were quick to take care of this. Love the keyless entry to the rooms. Parking can be a little tight if you have a larger vehicle depending on where your room is. Strongly recommend booking direct vs 3rd party. The rates are the same or better booking direct. It’s very close to the park entrance and enough outside Estes that it’s quiet at night.

Stayed here as a group of four, for two nights over the 4th of July weekend. Great location, close to downtown Estes and not far from RMNP.
Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room had all the basic amenities (microwave, mini fridge, towels, soap, AC) and was clean.
Only downside to not was our room became a bit stuffy after the first day. Not sure if this was because of the AC or poor ventilation in the bathroom to get rid of steam from showers. Everything else was great though!
Pro tip: book this place directly online or through phone call - other sites like Booking.com will charge you more!

Had a Beautiful Christmas vacation in 2023. My wife had never seen snow coming down. It started snowing Christmas eve and we woke up to a Beautiful blanket of fresh powder as far as the eyes could see! We immediately had to run out and make snow angels. You couldn't tell where the parking lot was with well over 12" of snow. We also saw an Elk in the parking lot that didn't make it down the mountain due to a non life threatening injury. Outstanding Christmas present! The room was affordable and very comfortable with a deck on the second floor to overlook the Rockies. The town is very friendly with everything within walking distance. A wonderful 5 day stay. The morning we left we had to reroute our way back to Florida as highways were starting to shut down due to blizzard conditions. We'll definitely be back to stay in a warmer time of the year.

AMAZING experience at the Alpine Ridge Inn. If you are staying in Estes Park, this is the place to stay. Excellent customer service, hospitality, clean rooms, and impeccable view!
The lady who runs the place is so nice & kind. She is so accommodating and welcoming. She let us make coffee in the main office every morning since the coffee is really good. She gave us restaurant recommendations as well which were all delicious. 10/10 reccomend.

This was a good value hotel for my weekend in Estes park, 5 min drive to the center of Estes park and just a mile from the national park entrance. The place is a motel style hotel on ground level with parking right in front of the rooms, right on the road, the room was comfortable and very clean, I had two queen beds, a little fridge, microwave, a small coffee maker, TV and a good heating device (at night it got a bit cold). Friendly ladies at reception. Nice Mountain View.
The pool wasn’t open yet (mid May).
There was a fire pit, where we sat one evening talking with other guests, super cool.

I stayed here for 5 nights for a business trip after a long drive from TX. The front desk lady was always very helpful with my requests and made sure I had all that I needed. There were a few minor issues regarding the WiFi. It is not password protected and has an authorization page that would not pull up on two of my devices. However the issue was fixed and resolved by my 2nd night there. I would recommend they just do a password protected WiFi like 95% of most motels but I appreciated the fact they resolved the issue and the front desk lady took time to call the owner. The other minor issue was one of the lights posted to the bedframe didn't work at all. The room was very spacious and i had spent a little extra to get a balcony which I did not regret because it had the most beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom while very small had plenty of towels and soaps. The room was clean except for a little dust on the headboard that I found. House keeping is upon request also. While there is no laundromat on site. There is one directly across the street but its not cheap at all. There is also a small country store next to it. Overall the room had everything I needed at a fair price and staff was very friendly. I would definitely return to this place on my next venture to Colorado.

Let me start off by saying this place feels very homey and has a nice vibe, and thankfully is not as official as the big chain hotels feel. I’m usually a chain hotel kind of gal, but I took a chance and glad I did. This place exceeded my expectations.
I booked a balcony room with a Mountain View in room 138 and I was not disappointed. Although the weather was too cold for me to sit on my balcony for too long, I did like just having the blinds open and looking at the mountains during the day and their silhouettes at night (especially the snow covered peaks).
The door has a numbered keypad instead of a keycard to which I enjoyed. I’m always losing my key card or worried that I have it, but having a numbered lock has changed my life. My flight was delayed by four hours and I received an email instructing me on what to do if I arrived after 8pm since that is when their office closes. There was a number I called and they confirmed it was me before texting me the room number, a map, and the code. So I’m glad I didn’t have to find somewhere else to stay because the lobby was closed before I got there.
Bed was nice, heating was great, and the pillows were soft. Parking lot was a bit of a squeeze on the back row spots, but it didn’t bother me too much. When I come back to Estes Park, I’ll be a returning customer 🙂

Very cozy rooms in a convenient location. We appreciated everything that was provided for the guests in the rooms. Watch out for the TV guide if you have children... there is no short selection of adult content with very creative names.
Appreciated the late checkout we asked for. Wonderful accommodations for a very reasonable price. Will definitely stay again.
