I was here with my girlfriend, for her birthday weekend. Mike, the front desk person, was friendly and made our stay extra special by offering an upgrade to a room w/ balcony for a small up charge.
This was totally worth it, because we had an awesome view of the mountains in the morning, and an incredible view of the stars at night.
If I was nitpicking, the only negative thing was that the walls seemed a bit thin. We could hear our neighbors talk.
To conclude, if you are planning a trip to Estes, keep them in mind. For the price and location, you won't find any better.

Excellent stay Best place to stay in Estas parks hands down and ask for Mike im sure he will give you the sane great service he showed me,definitely coming back. Beautiful scenery and close to downtown 👌 and lots of wildlife to see when your here clean room and the bed was confy.

We had a great stay at Alpine Trail Ridge Inn! The king balcony room was very spacious and had great amenities (two-person table, wardrobe, plenty of dresser space). Also, the location can't be beat! …

I had a great stay here last week for a few nights! I had requested a room with a nice view and when I saw that some rooms had balconies and asked about them, they immediately upgraded me to a room with a balcony for no extra charge! Nice staff. Rooms were clean. Great views and about as close to RMNP as you can get. Also within walking distance to a few great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Amazing! The view from my room was of the Rocky Mountain Nation Park it cant get much better than that. Good food good people good service! id reccomend to anyone. Plus i got to tour the Stanley hotel that was a bonus! Lots of places to check out cute little shops and lots of whiskey tasting!

Great Hotel. The wife and I stayed here for 2 nights starting February 13th, 2024. We asked for a balcony room and was given room 138. The room was very clean and roomy. It was evident that the managers, Amanda and Donny have been working hard to provide nice clean rooms, and also a pleasant environment for guest to experience during their stay. Our room had a nice view of the rocky mountains, and the hotel is just a short drive to one of the east gates to the Rocky Mountains National Park. I will highly recommend the Alpine Trail Ridge Inn.
