Where to Find the Best Estes Park Beer

Hands holding lager light foamy big beer glasses and clinking. Two friends sitting in bar and drinking alcohol drinks. Concept of Beer Fest, party, celebration, taste, national traditions.

If your perfect mountain day ends with a cold pint, you’re in the right place. Estes Park isn’t just about breathtaking hikes and sweeping views—it’s also home to a lively craft beer scene that knows how to hit the spot after a day on the trails. Here are our favorite stops for some Estes Park beer!

The Barrel

Step inside a converted shipping container and grab a seat—this is The Barrel, one of Estes Park’s most unique watering holes. With 64 rotating taps in summer (and 25 in winter), plus mead, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, it’s easy to find something you love. Bring your own food, enjoy a local food truck, and don’t be surprised if live music becomes the soundtrack to your evening.

Avant Garde Aleworks

Tucked away just off the beaten path, Avant Garde Aleworks serves up Belgian-style beers and small-batch seltzers in a warm, inviting space. It’s a great stop for those looking to try something a little different—and swap trail stories with fellow beer lovers.

Estes Park Brewery

When you want choices, this is your go-to. Estes Park Brewery pours over a dozen house brews and is known for its tasty food and family-friendly vibe (don’t miss the homemade root beer!). Their beer garden is always buzzing with energy—especially on sunny days.

Lumpy Ridge Brewing Co.

Equal parts laid-back and scenic, Lumpy Ridge Brewing operates out of a former gas station, adding charm to every pour. Their second spot, the downtown Publick House, offers even more space to enjoy small-batch brews with a view.

Rock Cut Brewing Company

Close out your adventure with a pint at Rock Cut Brewing, just a short walk from downtown. It’s welcoming, relaxed, and a local favorite for good reason—ideal for kicking back after a big hike in the park.
